Alexander and Madeline joyfully request the pleasure of your company as we speak our vows and join in marriage in the presence of family and friends.
We'll start with a nonsectarian ceremony, then move to the University Club for the reception. Dress code will be semi-formal attire.

To recent Pitt alums, it formerly was known as the Wyndham hotel, and lies just one block away from our ceremony space, and less than a five minute walk from the reception. Madeline

Hi, I’m Madeline! I grew up in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, and I’m a lifelong Pitt fan, history lover, and hiker! Ive been involved in the arts nearly my whole life, from playing instruments, to singing, and musical theater. I’m a graduate of the Pitt School of Nursing class of 2022, which makes me a third generation Pitt grad! I met most of my current friends through nursing, and wouldn’t trade them for the world. Nowadays, I fill my time working as a Registered Nurse at Magee Women’s Hospital in the Medical ICU, while also incorporating my background in high-risk obstetric care. I love my job, my family, my cats, and— most of all— I love Alex, and I cannot wait to marry him!

A short snippet about the groom
Hi, I’m Alex! I was born in Huntsville AL, spent some time in Williamsburg VA, and spent most of my life growing up in the suburbs of Charlotte, NC. I am the second oldest of three brothers (all of which you will meet soon enough!). I found myself in Pennsylvania for school at the University of Pittsburgh, here I earned a bachelor’s degree in microbiology and met the love of my life, Madeline! I love everything outdoors, am a long-time distance runner, and a die-hard Panthers fan! (Both the Carolina and Pittsburgh Panthers, makes it very easy!) Nowadays, I am pursuing a PhD in Oncology at the University of Pittsburgh, training for the Pittsburgh Half Marathon in May, and getting our backyard ready for another year of gardening. I have so much love for my family, friends, and my God; I cannot wait for all to be in attendance for this momentous occasion!
